Supply production-ready artwork
Provide editable vector artwork where possible. Convert text to outlines, identify colours and remove unnecessary effects that cannot be reproduced by the selected process. A visual mock-up is useful, but it should be accompanied by measurable placement information.
Respect the printable area
Bottle curvature, shoulder transitions, recessed panels and mould seams affect decoration. Confirm artwork width, height, orientation and distance from the base or another fixed reference point.
Coordinate decoration with the surface
Printing and hot stamping behave differently over clear glass, coating and reflective finishes. Define the sequence of surface treatment and decoration, then approve the final combination rather than each process in isolation.
Use one approved reference
The approved sample should be identified by date or version. Record colour, placement, finish and inspection expectations so the production team and buyer are working from the same standard.
